Alex Yong Sheng Eng is a Scientist at A*STAR’s Institute of Materials Research and Engineering (IMRE). He received his BSc (Hons) and PhD degrees in Chemistry and Biological Chemistry from Nanyang Technological University in 2012 and 2017 respectively, working on the electrochemistry of graphenes, nanostructured materials and their catalytic systems. His current research focuses on engineered nanomaterials for energy storage applications, including next-generation lithium- and sodium-metal batteries.
