Igor Berezovsky obtained his PhD in physics and mathematics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. After postdoctoral research at the Weizmann Institute of Science and Harvard University, he moved to the Bergen Center for Computational Science at the University of Bergen in Norway. In 2014, he joined the Bioinformatics Institute, where he is currently a Senior Principal Investigator. He also holds an Adjunct Associate Professor position in the Department of Biological Sciences of the National University of Singapore.
