A*STAR Institute of Sustainability for Chemicals, Energy and Environment (A*STAR ISCE2)Jianwei Xu is the Deputy Executive Director (Research) at A*STAR ISCE2 and an Adjunct Professor at the National University of Singapore (NUS). Having received his BS and MS in Chemistry, he completed his PhD at NUS and has since published over 300 articles in peer-reviewed journals in the polymer and materials sciences. Xu has also edited two books and contributed to 15 book chapters on polymer chemistry and polymer composites. Currently, his research interests include functional polymers for various applications, such as electrochromics, thermoelectrics, thermochromics, hydrochromics and aggregation-induced emission materials.
