Jianwei Xu is a Senior Principal Scientist III at the A*STAR Institute of Sustainability for Chemicals, Energy and Environment (A*STAR ISCE²). He earned his PhD from the National University of Singapore, where he developed his professional career in chemistry and materials science. At A*STAR ISCE², he leads a research group focused on the development of advanced functional materials. His team’s research spans a broad range of material systems, including electrochromic conjugated polymers, thermoelectric materials, aggregation-induced emission materials and other hybrid functional materials.
