Kang Rui Garrick Lim
Institute of Materials Research and Engineering (IMRE)Kang Rui Garrick Lim graduated with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the National University of Singapore in 2019 and worked on core-shell nanoparticles for energy harvesting and bioimaging with Zhi-Kuang Tan. He subsequently spent a year working on 2D MXenes for energy conversion at the Institute of Materials Research and Engineering (IMRE) with Zhi Wei Seh. Lim is now a chemistry PhD candidate at Harvard University under Joanna Aizenberg, working on designing well-defined heterogeneous catalysts containing bimetallic nanoparticles to interrogate fundamental questions in heterogeneous thermal catalysis.
