Parikshit Moitra’s vision is to find programmable solutions to metasurfaces for real life applications in next-generation optical devices for dynamic holography, LiDAR, high-resolution spatial light modulators and many more. During his PhD studies at Vanderbilt University, USA, Moitra contributed significantly in the development of the field of all-dielectric metamaterials. He carried out his postdoctoral fellowship at the Optoelectronics Research Centre at University of Southampton, UK in the field of ultrafast optics. Moitra strongly believes that programmable metasurfaces and nanophotonics will revolutionise adaptive optical devices in near future.
