Xuechuan Shan is a Senior Scientist at A*STAR’s Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology Institute (SIMTech). His research interests lie in microsystem design and fabrication, printed electronics and roll-to-roll processing with a focus on printed flexible hybrid electronics. His work focuses on developing apparatus and manufacturing processes for printed electronic devices and systems. Together with his colleagues and collaborators, he is also exploring the application of these printed devices and integrated systems to urban farming, food safety, healthcare and human wellbeing.
