Zhi Wei Seh is a Senior Scientist at A*STAR’s Institute of Materials Research and Engineering (IMRE). He received his BS and PhD degrees from Cornell University and Stanford University, respectively. As a Highly Cited Researcher on Web of Science, he is widely recognized for designing the first yolk-shell nanostructure in lithium-sulfur batteries, which is currently a licensed technology. His research interests lie in the design of new materials for energy storage and conversion, including advanced battery and electrocatalyst systems.
