A*STAR Institute of Materials Research and Engineering (A*STAR IMRE)Zhi Wei Seh is a Senior Principal Scientist at the A*STAR Institute of Materials Research and Engineering (A*STAR IMRE). He received his BS and PhD degrees from Cornell University and Stanford University, respectively. As a Highly Cited Researcher on Web of Science, he is widely recognised for designing the first yolk-shell nanostructure in lithium-sulfur batteries, which is currently a licensed technology. His research interests lie in the design of new materials for energy storage and conversion, including advanced battery and electrocatalyst systems.
