Andy Tan received his PhD in Immunology in 2008 from the National University of Singapore Graduate School for Integrative Sciences and Engineering. Thereafter, he completed his postdoctoral research at the John Curtin School of Medical Research at the Australian National University, working on problems in immunogenomics. Currently, he is a Senior Scientist and Group Leader at A*STAR’s Bioprocessing Technology Institute (BTI), co-Director of the Centre of Innovation for Sustainable Banking and Production of Cultivated Meats (CRISP Meats), and a Consultant Analytical Scientist with Health Sciences Authority.
