A*STAR’s Institute of Sustainability for Chemicals, Energy & Environment (A*STAR ISCE2)Choon Wee Kee received his Bachelor of Science (First Class Honours) from the National University of Singapore in 2009. He received his PhD degree in 2014. Kee performed his graduate research under the supervision of Choon-Hong Tan and Ming Wah Wong, funded by the President Graduate Fellowship. His post-doctoral research work was done in the group of Véronique Gouverneur, University of Oxford, UK, from 2016 to 2018, funded by the A*STAR International Fellowship. He has authored/co-authored 34 peer-reviewed articles and two book chapters. His research focuses on radiochemistry, asymmetric organocatalysis and heterogeneous catalysis, with emphasis on fluorine-18 PET tracer development, chiral sulfur compound synthesis, catalyst design for enantioselective transformations, sustainable hydrogen production, and carbon capture and utilisation.
