Deviprasath Chinnadurai is a Scientist at the A*STAR Institute of Materials Research and Engineering (A*STAR IMRE), Singapore. He obtained his PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from Pusan National University, South Korea, in 2020. Following his doctoral studies, he continued as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Pusan National University and later at Gyeongsang National University, South Korea. In 2022, he joined A*STAR as a Scientist.
With over 10 years of international research experience, Chinnadurai’s expertise lies in the design of advanced electrolytes and interfacial engineering strategies for post-lithium-ion batteries, with a particular focus on rechargeable magnesium and aluminium-ion systems. His research aims to advance safe, sustainable and high-performance energy storage technologies, bridging fundamental materials science with practical electrochemical innovation.
