Ee Chee Ren is a Principal Investigator at A*STAR’s Singapore Immunology Network (SIgN) and holds a second Associate Professorship at the Department of Microbiology, National University of Singapore. He holds an administrative appointment as Director of the Graduate Affairs Office at A*STAR’s Biomedical Research Council. Prior to joining SIgN, Ren was instrumental in setting up the Genome Institute of Singapore and was its Deputy Director from 2001 to 2007. Ren was awarded the Boehringer Mannheim Award for Scientific Achievement and the National Science Award – Ministerial Citation in 1996 and 1997 respectively.
