Fong Tian Wong has gained experience from Imperial College London and Stanford University, which provided her with a strong foundation in chemical engineering, focusing on biocatalysts and biosynthetic engineering. Her goals are to use biology to enhance chemical processes and develop sustainable solutions, particularly through the use of microbial factories, data-driven workflows, and AI-mediated designs. She currently holds appointments at the Institute of Sustainability for Chemicals, Energy and Environment (ISCE2) and the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology (IMCB).
