Gaoliang Yang is a Scientist at the A*STAR Institute of Materials Research and Engineering (A*STAR IMRE). He received his BS and PhD degrees from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and Hokkaido University, respectively, where he focused on photo/electrocatalytic water splitting and CO₂ reduction using heterogeneous and single-atom catalysts. His current research primarily centres on designing novel electrolytes and surface/interface heterostructures for rechargeable metal batteries.
