Ian Walsh has published over 60 peer-reviewed articles in the glycobiology, protein biology, machine learning (ML) and computational biology fields. He is currently interested in developing methods and algorithms to analyse and gain mechanistic insight into therapeutic quality. Walsh also focuses on creating novel adaptive computational models, ML tools and software tools to help understand biomanufacturing data, and glycoprotein and mRNA therapeutic data with an aim to optimise the drugs for patients.
