Jiaxu Wang obtained his bachelor’s degree from Tongji University and his PhD from the University of Science and Technology of China. He then he joined Yue Wan’s lab as a postdoctoral fellow in 2017. He is currently a Junior PI at the Genome Institute of Singapore. His work focuses on new RNA technology development; specifically, he combined high throughput sequencing and new structure probing compounds to detect RNA structure at the transcriptome level in bulk cells and single cells. His research work has been published in Nature Methods, Nature Biotechnology, Molecular Cell, Nature Communications, Hepatology and Genome Research.
