Researcher

Lili Zhang is Division Director of the Emerging Technologies at A*STAR’s Institute of Sustainability for Chemicals, Energy and Environment (ISCE2) and an Adjunct Professor at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Her expertise lies in carbon-based and functional materials for energy storage and conversion, clean energy production, alternative feedstock for chemicals and fuels, and waste upcycling. Lili is a globally recognised Highly Cited Researcher, with over 100 publications and more than 28,000 citations. She has received several honours, including the Outstanding Asian Researcher and Engineer Award, A*STAR Fellow and the IES Sustainability Award.
