Ruohan Wang is a Senior Scientist at the Visual Intelligence Department at A*STAR’s Institute for Infocomm Research (I2R). Previously, he was a postdoctoral researcher at University College London’s Intelligent Systems Group in the UK, supervised by Massimiliano Pontil. He completed his PhD in machine learning at Imperial College under the supervision of Yiannis Demiris and Carlo Ciliberto, funded by the Singapore National Science Scholarship. His research focuses on representation learning, meta-learning and continual learning, with the aim to design robust machine learning systems that efficiently leverage past experiences and existing knowledge for future learning.
