Sangyong Jung
Sangyong Jung completed his PhD in Physiology and Biophysics at Inha University’s School of Medicine in South Korea. His postdoctoral research in South Korea and Germany focused on synaptic plasticity electrophysiology as well as presynaptic vesicle exocystosis. Jung joined A*STAR’s former Singapore Bioimaging Consortium (SBIC) in 2016, where he established and led the Neuromodulation and Neurocircuitry Group. In 2021, Jung’s research moved to the A*STAR Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology (A*STAR IMCB). As of 2023, Jung has transitioned to Cha University, South Korea, as Associate Professor and Director of the CHA Animal Facility.
