Dr Santiranjan Shannigrahi is a Senior Scientist I at A*STAR’s IMRE. He also holds an appointment as an Adjunct Fellow at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at The National University of Singapore (NUS). His research interests include: structure-property-processing interrelationships of chemical processed oxide electric, magnetic and other advanced functional smart materials in their various form factors for sensors & transducers, magneto-electric and magneto-optic device applications; lead free UV absorbing ceramics and thick films and composites; magnetoelectric materials and wireless energy transfer; and microwave processing of ferrite materials for electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding applications.
