Tim Xiaoming Hu is a Junior Principal Investigator at the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology (IMCB). He is an A*STAR National Science Scholarship recipient who completed his PhD at the University of Oxford. He completed his research fellowship at Harvard University before joining IMCB in 2018. Hu’s current research focuses on the analysis of single cell multi-omics and spatial multi-omics, using artificial intelligence, machine learning and other computational methods. Hu has been in the field of high throughput genomic sequencing since 2009 and has published in top-tier scientific journals, with a citation count of more than 2,300. Hu is the recipient of multiple highly competitive awards, including the National Medical Research Council Clinician Scientist Award as co-Principal Investigator.
