Viacheslav Sorkin is a Senior Scientist at A*STAR’s Institute of High Performance Computing (IHPC). His expertise is in scientific software development as well as first-principles and atomistic modelling of high entropy alloys and 2D materials. He graduated in Physics in 1999 at the Lomonosov Moscow State University, then obtained his PhD in Physics at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology in 2006 before completing postdoctoral training in University of Minnesota in 2008.
