Vinh-Tan Nguyen is a Senior Scientist at A*STAR’s Institute of High-Performance Computing. He received his PhD from the joint programme between the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the National University of Singapore. Nguyen is currently a Senior Principal Scientist and the Innovative Technology Area Lead in the Green Technologies for Marine, Offshore, Oil & Gas Engineering at IHPC. His research focuses on the development of advanced numerical methods and high performance computing frameworks for modelling and simulation of coupled multiphysics problems in a wide range of engineering applications; these include aerospace, marine-offshore, biological flows, printing technologies and CFD-based quantitative risk analysis.
