Researcher
Xiang Yu obtained his PhD degree in mechanical engineering from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2015, where he studied complex vibroacoustic systems. He joined A*STAR in August 2015. Yu is currently a Research Scientist at the Institute of High Performance Computing (IHPC). He has published research articles in the Journal of the Acoustical Society of America and the Journal of sound and Vibration, among others, and presented conference papers at INTER-NOISE and the International Congress on Sound and Vibration. He is currently leading various acoustic projects sponsored by A*STAR’s Science and Engineering Research Council, hearing-aid company Sivantos, and other industries.
