Yinghua Yao is a Research Scientist at the A*STAR Centre for Frontier AI Research (A*STAR CFAR). Her research focuses on generative AI and AI for bioscience. She received her PhD in Computer Science from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Australia, in 2023. She has authored or co-authored papers published in leading AI conferences, including ICLR, KDD and IJCAI, as well as top journals such as JMLR, IEEE TPAMI, IEEE TNNLS. Yao was awarded the A*STAR Career Development Fund in 2026 and received the Best Paper Award at CPAL 2024 and the Best Poster Award at AI4SCI/NTCI 2024.
