Researcher
Yuangang Pan is a Senior Research Scientist at the A*STAR Centre for Frontier AI Research (A*STAR CFAR). Before joining A*STAR, he was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Australian Artificial Intelligence Institute, University of Technology Sydney (UTS). He received his PhD in Computer Science from UTS in 2020. Pan was awarded the A*STAR Career Development Award in 2022 and received the Best Paper Award at CPAL 2024. He has authored or co-authored papers published in leading AI conferences, including ICLR, KDD, IJCAI, AAAI and ICDE, as well as top journals such as JMLR, MLJ, ACM TOIS, IEEE TPAMI, IEEE TNNLS, IEEE TKDE, IEEE TIFS, IEEE TMM and Hypertension. His research interests include foundation models, generative AI and AI for bioscience.
