Yuwei Hu, a Senior Scientist at the Institute of Materials Research and Engineering (IMRE) at A*STAR, completed his PhD studies jointly at Jilin University and Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and conducted his postdoctoral research at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His research interests span smart multi-functional materials, sustainable bioplastics, stimuli-responsive DNA hydrogels, DNA nanotechnology, therapeutics delivery and materials for biosensing.
