Yuzhe Wang is a Senior Scientist in the Adaptive Robotics and Mechatronics Group at the Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology, A*STAR. Before that, he worked as a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, US, focusing on artificial muscles based on stimuli-responsive soft materials. He received his PhD and BEng (Honors) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Singapore in 2018 and 2014, respectively. His current research interest lies on intelligent soft robots, bioinspired robots, smart materials and structures, and adaptive mechanisms.
