Zhiheng Hu is a Senior Scientist at the A*STAR Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology (A*STAR SIMTech). He obtained his PhD in Electronic Science and Technology from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. His research focuses on alloy development (e.g., lightweight alloys and shape memory alloys) for additive manufacturing, alongside system development and metallurgical studies to enable the fabrication of high-performance materials and complex components. He has published more than 40 research publications in additive manufacturing, with an H-index of 31 reflecting the impact of his work.
