Fabio Bussolotti, after completion of Ph.D. in Physics from University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (Italy), served as international JSPS fellow at the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (2007–2009) to investigate the electronic properties of organic materials by angular resolved photoelectron spectroscopy (ARPES). He expanded these studies as research associate at Chiba University (Japan) and Institute of Molecular Science at Okazaki (Japan) (2009–2015). From 2016 he has been at the Institute of Materials Research and Engineering (Singapore), overseeing the Spin-ARPES system for the study of atomically thin materials for quantum technology applications.
