A*STAR Institute of Materials Research and Engineering (A*STAR IMRE)Jason Y. C. Lim is a Principal Scientist at the A*STAR Institute of Materials Research and Engineering (A*STAR IMRE), where he leads the Sustainable Supramolecular Materials Group. His research focuses on sustainable chemistry, including the development of catalytic processes for upcycling petroleum-based plastics into valuable chemicals and functional polymeric materials. He also works on porous materials for CO2 capture. Having trained in supramolecular chemistry, catalysis and polymer chemistry, Lim was named an NRF Fellow (Class of 2023) for his work on the sustainable upcycling of plastics.
