Ki Hyun Bae is a Principal Scientist I at the A*STAR Bioprocessing Technology Institute (A*STAR BTI). He has over 60 publications in peer-reviewed journals and 8 international patents, with 2 patents licensed to spin-off companies. In recent years, he has been working on the development of lipid nanoparticles for mRNA vaccine delivery and microneedle array patches for transdermal protein delivery. Since November 2024, he has been leading the Microneedles RNA Delivery (MRD) group focused on developing effective strategies for enhancing the delivery of RNA vaccines and therapeutics across skin and mucosal barriers.
