Researcher
Kun Liang is an assistant professor at the LKC school of medicine, Nanyang Technological University; and a Principal Scientist at the A*STAR Skin Research Labs with 10+ years of experience in biomaterials research. He received his PhD from the National University of Singapore, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship in ETH Zürich. His research interest focuses on designing biomaterials for skin-interfacing healthcare applications such as tissue engineering, cutaneous delivery and diagnostics with the goal of clinical translation. He has spearheaded several in-human studies involving medical devices and his work has been recognised with several early career grants and awards.
