Kun Liang is an Assistant Professor at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCmed) with over a decade of experience in biomaterials research. He also holds a joint appointment as a Principal Scientist I at the A*STAR Skin Research Labs (A*STAR SRL). He received his PhD degree from National University of Singapore, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship in ETH Zürich. His research interest focuses on designing biomaterials for skin-interfacing healthcare applications such as tissue engineering, cutaneous delivery and diagnostics with the goal of clinical translation. He has spearheaded several in-human studies involving medical devices and his work has been recognised with several early career grants and awards.
