Shi Wun Tong obtained her PhD degree from the City University of Hong Kong in 2005. She is currently a Research Scientist in the Department of Electronic Materials at A*STAR’s Institute of Materials Research and Engineering (IMRE). Her research revolves around the growth and characterization of two-dimensional transition metal dichalcogenide materials and graphene, as well as the exploration of their optoelectronic properties.
