Zhengwei Wu is a Senior Scientist I at A*STAR’s Genome Institute of Singapore (A*STAR GIS). He earned his B.Sc. with Highest Distinction and PhD in Cancer Biology from the National University of Singapore. With over nine years of experience in cancer metabolism and translational oncology, Wu is an inventor on multiple patents, including a granted U.S. patent and has published landmark research in journals such as Nature Medicine, Cell Metabolism, and Nature Metabolism. His main interests are in bridging fundamental multi-omic discovery with clinical application, specifically through the development of mechanism-based therapeutics and theranostic probes for targeted cancer intervention. He is also experienced in dissecting epigenetic and transcriptional heterogeneity to identify actionable vulnerabilities in both haematological and solid tumours.
